1. What does ASP stand for? What is ASP?
ASP stands for Active Server Pages. A scripting language that generates dynamic (eg.database driven) web pages.

2. What are the benefits of using ASP?
ASP adds flexibility to your site, you can create more functionality such as login areas, product catalogues, news facilities.

3. What do I need to use ASP?
ASP needs to run on a Windows based platform. A web server needs to be installed on the machine that will be running the ASP pages.

4. Will I be able view/run these pages on my office/home pc?
To view ASP pages on a home/office pc you will need to install Personal Web Server.

5. What can I do with ASP?
Create dynamic websites - you add modules (see Solutions for more info) such as News, Search, Admin, discussion server functionality. It allows clients to update thier own websites without have to know a programming language.
